Today, there are more choices than ever for how a funeral service is conducted.

• Humanist Style Service – with no religious content at all.
• Celebrant-Led Service – flexible and personal, tailored to reflect beliefs, personality, and life story.

As a Funeral Celebrant, I can conduct non-religious, semi-religious, or spiritual ceremonies. My aim is always to create a Celebration of Life – a service that honours the person’s memory, reflects their character, and tells their story in a way that feels right for the family.

How I Work with You

I will visit you in your home or mutual place and listen to your stories – both the happy and the sad, the well-known and the forgotten treasures. From there, I will create a personalised eulogy that captures the true essence of your loved one – who they were, what they believed in, and the mark they left on the world.

A funeral service can be as inclusive as you wish. I always encourage family members to take part, whether by reading a poem, sharing a memory, or speaking just a few words. These moments help create a loving and lasting farewell.

From the feedback I receive, families tell me they are left with comfort and pride in the way their loved one was honoured. That is the greatest reward for me.

Your Own Funeral – Designed by You in Advance

Have you ever thought about what you’d like said at your own farewell? Or worried that important messages may go unsaid?

Planning your own funeral service in advance ensures your wishes are respected and that your life is celebrated in the way you want.

I offer a thoughtful and personal service that helps you create your own funeral ceremony – complete with your chosen music, readings, poems, prayers, hymns, flowers, and charities. You can include special messages, personal mentions, and anything else important to you.

How it works:

• Initial telephone consultation to understand your wishes
• A meeting at your home or a mutually agreed location (private or with loved ones present)
• Creation of your personalised funeral script
• Once approved, I will send copies to the nominated family members who are part of the service
• When the time comes, I will deliver the service exactly as planned, at either a funeral or a Celebration of Life gathering

All prices are subject to annual review.
